Refund & Return Policy
How cancellations, changes, and refunds work for services booked through World Traveller's.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Overview
Travel products are often non-returnable physical goods; instead, they are subject to supplier cancellation and refund rules (airlines, hotels, tour operators, charter companies, and visa authorities). World Traveller's processes refund requests according to those rules and any service fees disclosed at booking.
2. How to request a cancellation or refund
- Contact us as soon as possible by phone or email with your booking reference and passenger details.
- Email: worldtravellersindia@gmail.com
- Phone: +91-8433987222, +91-9594991287, or +91-7907221881
We will confirm eligibility after checking supplier policies and the fare/package rules applicable to your booking.
3. Air tickets
- Refundable tickets: refunds follow airline fare rules, less airline cancellation fees and our service charges (if any).
- Non-refundable tickets: generally not refundable; residual value, if any, may be available as airline credit subject to airline policy.
- Date or name changes may incur airline change fees plus fare difference.
4. Hotels
Hotel cancellations depend on the rate type and free-cancellation window stated on your voucher or confirmation. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full by the property. We will assist in requesting waivers where reasonable, but outcomes are at the hotel’s discretion.
5. Holiday packages & tours
Package refunds follow the cancellation schedule shared at the time of booking (often tiered by days before departure). Non-recoverable supplier costs, peak-season deposits, and promotional components may be non-refundable. Unused portions of a package after travel begins are typically not refundable.
6. Visa assistance
- Embassy/consulate visa fees are generally non-refundable once submitted, regardless of approval outcome.
- Our service fee for document guidance and application support may be partially or fully non-refundable once work has commenced—this will be stated on your invoice.
7. Flight chartering & air charter
Charter bookings usually require deposits and are governed by the aircraft operator’s contract. Cancellation windows can be strict; deposits may be forfeited after a certain date. Additional flown hours, waiting time, or airport charges already incurred are payable. Exact terms are provided in your charter confirmation.
8. Service fees
World Traveller's service or convenience fees are separate from supplier charges. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, service fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed or substantive work has been completed.
9. Refund timelines & method
Approved refunds are processed after we receive funds from the supplier. Timelines vary (often 7–45 business days, sometimes longer for international airlines). Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. Bank processing times may add further delay.
10. Force majeure
In events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, war, or severe operational disruption), refunds or credits follow supplier and regulatory guidelines. We will support claims and alternatives where available.
11. Disputes
If you believe a refund was handled incorrectly, contact us with your booking details within 15 days of our response. We will review the case with the relevant supplier. Also see our Terms & Policy.
